LAZER'S NEW Z1 KINETICORE GETS A TOUR DE FRANCE INSPIRED MAKE-OVER.

Lazer shows off Tour de France and Maillot Jaune collection for 2024

The Belgian helmet brand Lazer is proud to show off their contribution to the full A.S.O Tour de France & Maillot Jaune range of 2024.

As licensee of the iconic Tour de France trademark the helmet brand gets to have fun with the iconic Tour de France colors and visuals in their designs each year. After Tempo KinetiCore, Tonic KinetiCore and the kids helmet Nutz KinetiCore last year, it is now time for the Z1 KinetiCore.

Z1 KinetiCore was only launched in the beginning of this year and serves as a replacement for the iconic Z1, now with Lazer’s built-in rotational-impact protection. Z1 is quite familiar with Le Tour de France, taking its place on many riders heading for stage victory. So, it’s only evident that the Z1 KinetiCore makes its return to the Tour de France with this special edition helmet and aeroshell.

The blue and yellow helmet design matches the Maillot Jaune kits available on the Tour de France’s official website and completes the full look. The special edition helmet shares the same features as the original helmet, listed on the Lazer Sport website.

As well as Z1 KinetiCore, the lower-budget Tonic KinetiCore suitable for all types of riders now has a special Maillot Jaune edition. Perfect to complete the full maillot jaune branded kit.

The license agreement between both parties will continue for at least another two years, resulting in numerous new and unique helmet designs in the future.

Lazer KinetiCore technology

Lazer’s KinetiCore technology features built-in rotational-impact protection thanks to unique Controlled Crumple Zones incorporated into the helmet. The result is advanced multi-directional protection. KinetiCore also uses less overall material for improved ventilation, a lighter-weight helmet, and fewer plastics.
